Medical School Applications: Timeline and Tips. The only thing I’m SURE of is that I’m way overthinking this and just hanging on to my last excuse to delay taking a full length. However Kaplan and my fiancé are both saying I should start with AAMC to get the truest sense of the experience and because I’m likely to forget everything on the first test by the 2nd time I take it (weeks from now after taking several other full lengths) so I wouldn’t actually be “wasting” it. I don’t want to “waste” an AAMC full length on just getting my feet wet. My logic is to start with one of the Kaplan tests since I know I’m going to absolutely bomb my first attempt. However I really am stuck with one ridiculous issue: My Kaplan course comes with 5 AAMC practice full lengths (which are apparently the closest thing to knowing what you would actually score) and 11 Kaplan full lengths (which are good, but as I understand not as accurate of a prediction on your actual score). ![]() I’m coming up with all kinds of excuses not to, but am working through whatever emotional blockage is going on. So it’s time for me to finally start taking full length practice exams. /r/GAMSAT - Australian & UK Medical school Admission Test.P/S = Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior (Tentative) AAMC Sample FL Score ConversionĬ/P = Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological SystemsĬARS = Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skillsī/B = Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems # Correct -> Scaled Score Converter for AAMC Material These posts will be removed and the user banned without warning, subject to the discretion of the mod team Learn MoreĪll of the above rules are subject to moderator discretion High Yield MCAT Links You have signed an examinee agreement, and it will be enforced on this subreddit.ĭo not intentionally advertise paid or free products or services of any sort.
